Dr. Candace Jones was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Deerfield Windsor School, where she competed in basketball, soccer, and track. She continued her career in soccer by playing at Armstrong State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Molecular Biology.
During her junior year of undergrad, she became a charter member of Phi Mu Kappa Omicron. She then graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. While in dental school, she was chosen to be part of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Also during that time, she was a member and held various leadership roles in several organizations, such as the American Association for Women Dentist, the American Student Dental Association, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the Dental College of Georgia Ambassador Program. She is committed to getting to know each patient and providing a comfortable environment during dental treatment.
She is married to Blake Jones, who is also a dentist and practices in Savannah. In their spare time, they enjoy being with family and friends, playing with their puppy Remi, and doing anything outdoors!
Dr. Amber Ivey Gordon is a native of Warrenton, Georgia, where she completed her early education. She went on to attend Fort Valley State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Driven by a passion for healthcare and service, she continued her academic journey at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, as she developed her calling for dentistry.
In May 2017, Dr. Gordon earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Committed to advancing her clinical skills and expanding her knowledge, she completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Dental College of Georgia.
As a highly skilled oral health professional with diverse experience across a wide range of dental procedures, Dr. Gordon is dedicated to providing comprehensive; patient-centered care. She finds great fulfillment in serving and building relationships within the community as she spreads the love of Christ.
Dr. Blake Jones was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from Calvary Day School then attended Georgia Southern University and Armstrong Atlantic State University where he played basketball. Dr. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in Cell/Molecular Biology from Armstrong. In 2017, he graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Jones continued his education, completing a residency program AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Jones focused on cosmetic, implant and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Jones is passionate about the personal relationships that can be built with patients and believes it is an incredible profession that can be used as a stepping stone for ministry work and sharing the gospel. While in school, Dr. Jones started an organization called HIM ministries (Hearts for International Missions) while visiting Romania on a mission trip. He was involved in the efforts to create and manage a dental and health clinic in the area. Dr. Jones wishes to continue his ministry and care for others now that he is back at home in Savannah.
